Innocent-looking it starts out. Don't be fooled by the rose...or is it a carnation? Not really able to tell...

Guitar abounds in Schwarzer Sarg, and for once Tachibana-san gets quite a bit of screentime. (Either that, or his appearances in the Wahrheit PV was too forgettable.) Even during their live performances, the camera was focused on YUI for about 90% of the time. Possibly even more.

(took some effort to capture this, where most of Tachibana-san's face is visible...kinda)

I'm genuinely worried at how thin YUI is getting. Sure, she's never been what one would call tubby (or even, dare I say, within normal range of accepted width/breadth standards), but at points in this PV, it's gotten to the state where she gets a tad too close to resembling the skeleton(s) being prominently featured. Which makes things all the more disturbing.

Kate Moss this is not. Shudder-inducing, though. Dear, even if you really are over 300 years old, that doesn't give you the right to look like it.

Yet, from the right flattering angles, our fairy is quite the looker actually. To make this claim credible, I deliberately chose a screenshot not of her on the couch thing, ie. in the same poor lighting as the one above.

Furthermore, she can be gorgeous/sexy too...

...'cept that she looks like a certain Mizuki Nana here, another proud owner of lust-object legs. Not fair is it?

AOB:
Had been wondering whether the tattoo (?) on YUI's left arm was the real thing. It's been with her in the previous PV, various photos (including jacket art iirc), and was there during the lives on the metanoia DVD.

There was quite a close-up in this PV, though I think there was one somewhere else also.

Cross-reference from the Wahrheit PV:

(rather small, was resized for a mobile phone wallpaper, not sure if there's more below cropped area)

WHAT'S WITH THE DEAD (?) ANIMAL?! 囧囧囧

Haven't listened to Wisdom yet, and am still having difficulty grasping the chanting despite it being repeated so much. "Wisdom...holy..." something...ikka reckons. The sudden shift to engineered ("unnatural") vocals somewhere in the middle was a pleasant surprise however, probably because there was a scene shift at (almost?) the same instant.

This probably isn't going to go on my carry-around playlist, but is quite a nice song imo, the production was good methinks. They managed to make it so that YUI doesn't make the deep breathing in she seems prone to do so obvious...GJ, whoever it was.

due to some strange twist of fate, I was given a descent copy of this PV just now @__@ (not to mention youtube..) and, not surprisingly, I found these notes of yours!

true adherent's review, I must say. I could not help but agree with all these thoughts, and I also noticed Yui was looking skeletal, or just starved. But that's quite momentarily...
Our Yousei-san still has plenty of right angles! ^__^ Weiss Flugel PV also proves that she is not about to starve herself completely. She's just slim. No skeletal appearance. Or?..
(if one simply doesn't eat much and looks basically OK, there's a risk to accidentally draw the cheeks in - and thus produce the real "skeletal" facial appearance... my own problem, sometimes)

and well, the tattoo, be it real or not, persists in Weiss Flugel, too...
and, uh, - do:butsu-ga daiski des! - as Kobushi-san was putting it... dead animals are supposed to be good for gothic scenes, Wahrheit had a huge spider, I remember ^__^ - certainly it's more impressive when alive, unlike some small mammals.. So Yui's decorations are right and quite in her style ^___^

PS. I wonder why there were no Yousei Teikoku lovers commenting this post. Just were doing it all by themselves, somewhere? &__&

LOL I had to look back at some of the things I wrote back there, because it was posted kinda a while back.

Yes, YUI is pretty dang good-looking when in good lighting and at the proper camera angles. As you said, Weiss Flugel's PV showed that. I remember hearing that black makes a person seem thinner...maybe that has something to do with it too.

At the time of the post, I tried to look for a non-PV image on her blog to see if the tattoo appears when she's offstage, but to no avail. There's the chance that she'd get called out on her different projected personalities if it's real, perhaps, seeing as there was an incident (?) where a post wishing her happy birthday was purged because it mentioned two other names.

The animal thing is new to me, can't say I knew of anything like that. *headscratch*

>PS
On video sharing sites? IDK.

treating animals @__@
I didn't think much (or know) of animals too, but it's worth mentioning - Yui was using a spider to crawl and entertain people, and now these _two_ dead animals!
(- Quite unlike Mana-sama or Arika-sama, who aren't interested in animal companions @__@)
So, Kobushi Abiru was just getting animals' tails for her home Tail shrine, but YUI takes all the fur from little furries... And then pats their dead faces decorating her dress.
("osoroshii koto", desu)

The only one of these habits I know of is Kana, she was never without dead(?) animals on strings ...or she was patching them up... but these were never supposed to be real animals.
Our result: YUI is weird in this very Particular way ^__^
